Make Your Choice

Three Point Raise your hand in the sanctuary if you’ve ever made a decision that you later regretted making. How many of us in church this morning have said, “If I had known then what I know now, I would have done things a whole lot different?” The question then becomes, do we accept the fact that we were wrong, or do we try to shift the blame on to someone else. I hear Adam saying to the Lord, “it was that woman you gave me!”

As you drive down any street or roadway you will typically see signs that say, stop, yield, detour, one way, children at play, no turn on red, bear crossing. All of these signs have a specific purpose. They all give us information that alerts us to the rules of the road. These signs, in and of themselves, can’t make you do anything. But they do serve to give you information that can prevent you from making a poor decision you may regret later…if you make the right choices.
