This is not just one of those ‘tickle your ear’ experiences. It’s a sermon that focuses on what the Spirit of the Lord has to say to God’s church. Everything written in the Word of God is critical to our role as Christians. We need the Bible. The sea needs the rain; the rain needs the clouds; the birds need the air; the fish need water, and Christians need the word of God.

You may be dressed up to the ‘nines’, as the saying goes, but you are not completely dressed without the Word of God. You may wear designer duds, have on expensive labels, and be accessorized with glittering baubles and bangles, but you will never be fully dressed without the Word. Without the Word, you are dressed up with nowhere to go. You’ll get that when you get home.
