Fatherhood doesn’t come with a manual…at least not a secular one. But what does God say about fatherhood? God’s Word has a much broader perspective on fatherhood than our government. The Lord challenges fathers to a greater role, not just as bread winners, and social and emotional nurturers, but also as an essential role in the spread of the Gospel. God knows that fathers can have a great impact on the world He has created. And as we look at God’s instructions to Abraham, we clearly see the role of a father. God charges fathers to be faultless, faithful, and fruitful.
