Three Point
"We like things to be logical. You know…we want them to make sense. We put our trust in our logical minds. For example:
We like things orderly. If the sun rises in the east, we expect it to set in the west.
We like things fair. If the candidate is the most qualified, he should win.
We understand input and output. If we plant a seed, we expect a harvest.
We expect balance. If we invest, we should profit…or if we study, we should pass.
We like the predictable. If we put a pot of water on the stove, we expect it to boil at 212 degrees.
Human logic is like a box into which we place all our expectations. And we expect that what comes out of that box will measure up to our human standards...things like age, status, skill, or fairness. But God’s blessings often ignore human logic or fairness. He is not confined to our human limitations. Our logical expectations are not always His divine proclamations.

• Joshua’s sun stood still (Joshua 10:12-13)
• The Jericho walls fell, not with battering rams, but with praise (Joshua 6:20)
• Moses’ Red Sea was split by a rod (Exodus 14:21-22)
