Our Father's Promise
Psalm 119:105
Father's Day
Three Point
"That scene sums up our own relationships with our Dads. Dad doesn’t leave us alone, and for good reasons. It’s because he knows that we aren’t anywhere near the brilliant son or daughter we think we are. In fact, our fathers can clearly see the gaping weaknesses in our immature pompous persona, and the unlearned portions of our “school of life” academics.
Tell the truth, now. If we were as smart as we thought we were, we would have listened to our fathers about a lot more things, and we might not have experienced some of those hero-to-zero rollercoaster rides we ended up having in life. Frankly, a father’s duty isn’t over until a father dies. And if the father has done well, his legacy takes over when he is gone.
It's a big job being a father..."
